# Error Codes

| HTTP Status Code | Error Description |
| - | - |
| 400 | Bad Request (invalid `client_id` / `client_secret` on the token endpoint) |
| 401 | Unauthorized. Missing or expired token, or on data endpoints a missing, expired or trimmed `X-Vendor-Request-Key` |
| 403 | Access denied to the requested resource |
| 404 | Resource not found, including a `location_id` your firm cannot access |
| 422 | Unprocessable Entity |
| 429 | Too Many Requests. Slot cooldown (2 minutes per location) or slot rate limit (10 requests / 10 seconds per token). Honour `retry_after` / `Retry-After` |
| 500 | Internal Server Error |

Error bodies are JSON with an `errors` key:
