In TeamCare, an Organization represents a dental group or practice owner (the parent company) that owns one or more practice locations. After your consulting firm authenticates as a vendor, you list the organizations your account has access to, then drill down into each organization’s locations to fetch data.

What is an Organization?

An Organization is the parent entity that owns dental practice locations. You can think of it as the dental group or the practice owner. Most consulting firms work with one or more organizations, depending on their client relationships. In the TeamCare platform, an Organization is also referred to as a practice tenant.

Organization and Vendor Relationship

As a consulting firm (vendor), you register on TeamCare and add practices under your account. Each practice registers as an Organization. When you authenticate with the TeamCare Vendor API using your API credentials, you can list all organizations accessible to your vendor account.

Organization and Location Relationship

Each Organization has one or more locations. Most dental groups operate a single location, but TeamCare supports multi-location practices where the same owner operates multiple sites. Each location stores its data independently, so patients, appointments, and treatments are scoped to a specific location.
